This place was pretty good. What's more, the owner said that I could rent it on a monthly basis for $879 USD per month. The main reasons I didn't do it is because I already had arrangements to move into another apartment I had found on Airbnb. The back bedroom has very good airconditioning, but the rest of the place is rather large so it does not get as cool in the rest of the apartment. This only makes a difference in the mid to late afternoon. In the morning and evening it is cool enough.  

This place is in the Bocagrande neighborhood of Cartagena. It is exceedingly close to a Carulla supermarket. The internet works well. The owner speaks English well and is a high-level tour guide for colombians who travel in groups to various distant locales across the globe.

This place is quiet yet very centrally located in Bocagrande. It is a two block walk to get to a major road with lots of taxis and stores etc.. 

4 block walk to the beach. Close to shopping mall.
