$35 to $50 USD per night. Open market lots of choices.
Very safe area of Cartagena. Laundry and Restaurants on Ground Floor also.
The name of the building is called Nuevo Conquistador, and it is in the Boca Grande/Laguito neighborhood of Cartagena, Colombia. You can just show up here and go around to the little real-estate agencies on the first floor and find a cheap apartment or room on any given day. There is no need for appointments or Airbnb bookings (although a good 20% or so of all Airbnbs in Cartagena, Colombia in fact are located in this massive building). Depending on how large of a place you want you are looking at around $35 to $60 bucks a night on the high end.

It is right near the beach and it is very easy to get a taxi here at any hour of the day or night. There is a restaurant and two small grocery stores on the first level as well.
If you do rent a modest airbnb in Cartagena, there is a very good chance that in fact it is located in this massive structure. The picture above really does not do its size justice. Again, it is low-budget, you will not get a Ritz Carlton type room here. But you can get a good apartment with strong internet and with more than acceptable security.
It is located in the most safe area of Cartagena: Bocagrande/Laguito.
